The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce is the business community
working together. It is the central agency that unites the forces of
the community for its improvement and development.
The overall objective of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce is
to ensure progressive and orderly economic development, in order to
make the community a better place in which to work, live, and
succeed. The Chamber’s strength lies in its membership, enabling them
to accomplish collectively what no one could do individually. The
Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of individuals and
businesses who band together to advance the commercial, financial,
industrial and civic interests of a community.
The Chamber represents and promotes the area’s economy encouraging
business and industrial investment, broadening the tax base and
providing employment. To business prospects and newcomers, the
Chamber represents the community’s “FRONT DOOR”. It helps all members
of the business community-firms and individuals alike and welcomes
newcomers, visitors and all others making inquiry of the community.
It maintains a library of directories, reports, surveys, maps,
tourist and travel folders, community functions and events for the
use of its members. Basic to all the work of the Chamber is its
unifying influence. This is felt not only in servicing and
coordinating its own committees, but in working with the organization
effort of the entire community. |
